Since the Middle Age there were quarters and suburbs located behind the town walls, currently known under the names of Žižkov,Karlov, Vrchlice, Hlouška or the formerly independent townlet of Kaňk .These parts are included in our archive only peripherally, because the project of Dissapeared places of Kutná Hora is mainly focused on the town “inside of the walls”.
